Rice pudding

For 4 persons

  • 225g long grain rice
  • 350ml milk
  • 25g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 75g sugar
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp of grated lemon rind
  • 75g raisins
  • 1/2 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of nutmeg
  1. Prepare rice according to package directions, drain it and let it cool down.
  2. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Stir in the rice.
  4. Put everything in a greased casserole.
  5. Bake in the oven at 150°C. Leave to cook until it has formed a golden crust.
  6. Serve with fruits.
